Default Best cleaner for MacBook screen

a while a go I got a MacBook and now I see that there are some smudges on the glossy screen. I would presume that the laptop screen cleaners would be no good due to the glossyness of the screen. What then would be a good cleaner for the screen?

Here's a link from Apple's Knowledge Base library that might provide some helpful advice:

We use a standard screen cleaning cloth on all the LCD screens and the plasma TV.
